Flyers' Steve Mason: Interested in return to Philadelphia

Mason indicated he is interested in returning to the Flyers, but he would like to be back as the clear No. 1 goalie, NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Mason can become an unrestricted free agent July 1. He posted a 26-21-8 record with a 2.66 GAA and .908 save percentage across 58 games, spending a majority of the season in a timeshare with Michal Neuvirth. He finished up strong, posting a 9-4-2 record with a 2.22 GAA and .922 save percentage over his final 15 appearances.
