Canadiens' Max Pacioretty: Should be fine

Pacioretty (face) is expected to be available against the Rangers on Wednesday, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.

Analysis:

Pacioretty, who took a stick to the face during practice Tuesday, appears to have avoided a serious injury. The winger logs significant time on the top line as well as the No. 1 power-play unit, so an extended absence for him would certainly impact the Habs' chances of making a deep run in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
