Red Wings' Niklas Kronwall: Not ready to retire
Kronwall is 100 percent committed to playing next season, Brendan Savage of MLive.com reports.
Analysis:
The 36-year-old blueliner had arguably his worst campaign since entering the league in 2005-06, tacking on a pair of goals with 11 helpers over 57 games. Recurring injuries -- namely to his knee -- can be blamed for the slide, as can the team's overall lack of experience on the blue line. Kronwall has two years left on his contract valued at $4.75 million annually before he'll be an unrestricted free agent.
