Analysis:

Given the wide range of when he might be back, Letang's status for Opening Night of the 2017-18 season is certainly in question. The oft-injured defenseman will no doubt be missed on the Pens' blue line during the playoffs as they look to defend last season's Stanley Cup. The 29-year-old's injury woes make him a risky fantasy option, but when healthy, he remains one of the top offensive-minded defensemen in the league.
