Hurricanes' Jeff Skinner: Major contributor in OT win
Skinner scored the game-tying goal and assisted on the game-winner in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win against Columbus.
Analysis:
His 32nd of the year tied the game with just 4:20 remaining, and Skinner now has a spectacular total of 11 goals and three assists in his last 11 games. The 24-year-old sniper is now just one shy of his career high in goals (set in 2013-14), and a strong end run could see him match the 63 points he delivered as a rookie in 2010-11. No matter how he closes out the year, though, it's inarguable that Skinner's fantasy owners have been well rewarded.
