Red Wings' Tomas Nosek: Will see game ice Tuesday

Nosek will draw into the lineup Tuesday night against the Hurricanes.

Analysis:

Nosek will be deployed on the fourth line as a reinforcement option with Luke Glendening (lower body) unavailable. The former has one year left on his standard contract valued at $612,500 annually, and he projects to be a solid special-teams contributor in due time. Nosek's AHL campaign includes 15 goals, 25 assists and 33 PIM over 49 games as a member of the Griffins, though he's still in the hunt for that first NHL marker.
