Tatar tied the game Sunday against the Wild by beating Devan Dubnyk on the short side.

Analysis:

Detroit is out of the playoff picture, but the 26-year-old forward isn't showing it. Tatar now has seven goals and three assists over the past nine games, raising his season total to 40 points. His inconsistency is a reason to be wary, though, as over these nine games he was held without a point four times. Tatar is still a valid option at wing when the matchup is favorable.
