Bruins' Zane McIntyre: Returned to AHL Providence

McIntyre was sent back to AHL Providence on Sunday, Mark Divver of The Providence Journal reports.

Analysis:

McIntyre served in a backup role to Anton Khudobin during Saturday's contest against the Islanders, but his demotion back to the AHL club suggests Tuukka Rask (lower body) could be ready for Tuesday's tilt against the Predators. McIntyre could be recalled again if Rask has to miss one more, but he most likely won't see any time in the crease.
