Capitals' Paul Carey: Returns to D.C.

Carey was recalled from AHL Hershey on Friday, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Yeah, averaging a point per game in the minors -- as has been the case for Carey -- will get you some looks from the big club. However, he's failed to garner a substantial role in the NHL since the Avalanche originally called his name in the fifth round of the 2007 draft.
