Senators' Mike Condon: Comes up huge in win over Penguins

Condon made 34 saves on 35 shots and came away with a 2-1 shootout win over Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Analysis:

After these two teams played a nail-biter for 65 minutes, it all ended very quickly in the shootout -- Kyle Turris and Bobby Ryan both scored right away, while Condon stopped Nick Bonino and then Sidney Crosby to close it out. Very briefly a Penguin to start this season, Condon has largely played the part of a brick wall in his three appearances (two starts) against his old mates: 65 saves on 67 shots. However, he's now a distinct No. 2 behind Craig Anderson, limiting his fantasy value.
