Blues' Nail Yakupov: Could be in lineup Thursday

Yakupov may need to be activated for Thursday's game against the Canucks, as the Blues are dealing with several injured forwards that are listed out, Tom Timmerman of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The Blues' latest injury is to Paul Stastny, who is week-to-week with a lower-body injury. He joins Jori Lehtera (head) and Dmitrij Jaskin (upper body) on the shelf; Lehtera missed all of the just-concluded five-game road trip while Jaskin missed most of it. General manager Doug Armstrong said there are no plans for a call-up, according to the Post-Dispatch, so that suggests Yakupov will be in the lineup Thursday night against Vancouver unless either Lehtera or Jaskin becomes available before the two teams face off.
