Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist: Expected back soon

Lundqvist (hip) is expected to suit up for two of the Rangers' three contest during their California swing, according to coach Alain Vigneault.

Analysis:

New York will play back-to-back games against the Kings and Ducks on March 25 and 26, respectively, so it seems likely Lundqvist will start one of those, then play against the Sharks on March 28, barring any setbacks in his recovery. Given backup Antti Raanta's struggles of late -- a 2-2-2 record and 2.63 GAA -- fans and fantasy owners alike will be happy to get King Henrik back in the lineup as soon as possible.
