Senators' Mark Stone: Far away from return to ice

Stone (lower body) is "not even close" to skating, according to Senators coach Guy Boucher, TSN's Brent Wallace reports.

With that being the case, we're a bit surprised that Stone currently isn't showing on injured reserve. Only 13 games remain on the regular-season schedule for Ottawa, including Saturday's home tilt against the Habs. If you're in need of a forward for a playoff run and are getting burned by Stone's absence, consider dropping him for a player off the waiver wire. After all, one would think he'd need to get in multiple practices before returning and time is simply running out.
