Coyotes' Shane Doan: Will not play Saturday

Doan (lower body) has officially been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Blues, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

The good news is that Doan's injury isn't believed to be more serious than "day-to-day," and he'll reportedly accompany the team on the upcoming road trip that starts in Nashville on Monday. Hopefully the ailment doesn't disrupt the veteran's momentum, as he's crafted a two-game points streak filled with a pair of helpers.
