Ducks' Jonathan Bernier: Suffers tough-luck loss to Sabres

Bernier saved 30 of 31 shots and seven of 10 shootout attempts during Friday's loss to Buffalo.

Analysis:

The veteran backup continues to keep his team in games when his name is called with a .940 save percentage and 1.87 GAA through his past nine outings. Bernier has also allowed three goals or fewer in each start. With John Gibson nursing a lower-body injury, Bernier could receive a few more starts through the end of the campaign. However, a date with San Jose on Saturday isn't an ideal fantasy spot, and then the Ducks are off until a Wednesday tilt with Edmonton.
