Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: Holds on during shootout

Mrazek escaped Thursday's road start with a 5-4 shootout win over the Coyotes, stopping 22 of 26 shots.

Analysis:

The two teams pretty much traded goals during regulation, but Mrazek blanked the 'Yotes all three times in the shootout sequence. He finished this game with a poor .846 save percentage, but to be fair, one of the scores was a fluky deflection off teammate Mike Green's skate. Now that Jimmy Howard is back from his knee injury, Mrazek will be hard-pressed to pick up more than half the starts down the stretch.
