Ducks' Jonathan Bernier: Earns third straight victory Sunday
Bernier stopped 25 of 27 shots for his third consecutive victory Sunday against the Capitals.
Analysis:
Bernier has done a fantastic job stepping in for the injured John Gibson (lower body), allowing two or fewer goals in all but one of his last five appearances. His .911 save percentage on the season is nothing too impressive, but his recent play makes him worthy of a look right now. With the Ducks battling for playoff position and the former Maple Leafs goaltender on a roll, Bernier is worth inserting in your lineup down the stretch while Gibson remains out.
