Canadiens' Tomas Plekanec: Will sit out Sunday

Plekanec (upper body) said he won't play Sunday against the Oilers, J-F Chaumont of French source Le Journal de Montreal reports.

Analysis:

The veteran centerman has only missed two games this season, but it's been the last two, and comes during a time when the Habs need to hold ground as the Atlantic Division leaders. Plek has been a bust this season with only seven goals on a 5.9 shooting percentage after having double that amount in a full season during the 2015-16 campaign. How about assists, you ask? He's only at 17 of those after delivering 40 last year.
