Canadiens' Carey Price: Out sick Thursday

Correcting a previous report, Price will not start Thursday's game in Calgary after coming down with the flu.

Analysis:

There had been no indication prior to now that Price was dealing with any sort of illness, so the Canadiens must have believed that he might be able to suit up Thursday. If true, that's good news for the 29-year-old's chances of playing Sunday in Edmonton. Al Montoya will be the starting goalie Thursday; it's unclear whether Price will dress or the team will have to employ an emergency keeper, such as the goalie coach.
