Blackhawks' Corey Crawford: Tabbed for Thursday's start against Anaheim

Crawford will start in goal Thursday night against the visiting Ducks, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports.

Analysis:

This will be the third consecutive start for Crawford, who has rattled off eight wins in his last nine outings to go along with a respectable .920 save percentage in that span. We should see plenty of Crawford down the stretch, as chief backup Scott Darling is expected to miss at least two more weeks with an apparent hand injury. The Blackhawks are winners of seven straight contests, putting them on a clear path to the postseason. Crawford and Co. will next see an Anaheim team ranked in the bottom third for road scoring at 2.41 goals per contest .
