Hurricanes' Jeff Skinner: Will play Friday

As expected, Skinner (neck) will return to Carolina's lineup for Friday's game against the Coyotes.

Skinner's owners will want to reinsert the 24-year-old winger back into their lineups immediately, as he's been a steady point producer this season, racking up 40 tallies (20 goals, 20 assists) in 57 games. The 2010 first-round pick is expected to skate with Jay McClement and Lee Stempniak on the Hurricanes' third line Friday, but he should also see time on the man advantage as a member of Carolina's second power-play unit against Arizona.
