Bruins' Tuukka Rask: Tough-luck loser Thursday

Rask stopped 19 of 21 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Rangers.

Analysis:

It's hard to pin this loss on Rask, as he and the Bruins ran into a nearly unbeatable Henrik Lundqvist. Even though this stat line wasn't too pretty for Rask, it's hard to fault him on either of the goals -- a perfect laser of a slap shot from Pavel Buchnevich and a brilliant deke combined with an even more brilliant shot by Oscar Lindberg. Rask hasn't been landing in the loss column often lately, as he came into play with a 5-1 record over his last six starts. The save percentage is still lagging behind his glory days, and he's been especially vulnerable since the new year, but there's still plenty of fantasy appeal here.
