Penguins' Kris Letang: Doubtful for weekend

Letang (upper body) is likely to remain out Friday against Tampa and Sunday against Buffalo, CBS Pittsburgh radio reports.

Analysis:

Speaking on his weekly radio show, general manager Jim Rutherford said Thursday that he doesn't expect Letang to play in either of this weekend's contests. The defenseman was originally thought to have a day-to-day injury, but he hasn't played since Feb. 21. Fortunately, Pittsburgh has played only three games since then.
