Penguins' Phil Kessel: Going through dry stretch
Kessel was held without a point for the fifth time in six games Wednesday.
Analysis:
He scored four goals and five points in four games prior to his recent pointless streak, making the cooling off period more understandable. Kessel still leads the NHL with 26 power-play points (eight goals, 18 assists) but with 56 points in 62 games, it will take a yeoman's effort for him to finish over a point per game for the first time in his career, which had seemed possible for much of the season.
