Sabres' Robin Lehner: Gives up five in return to action

Lehner's return from a brief concussion absence didn't go well, as he allowed the Predators to score five times on 41 shots in Tuesday's overtime loss.

Analysis:

To be fair, he had to face a lot of fire in this one -- the fourth time in the last nine games that Lehner's seen 40-plus shots sent his way -- but there's no papering over the fact that he's given up 14 goals in his last three outings. The good news is that the concussion seems to have been quite a minor one (as these things go), so Lehner can be expected to continue starting regularly down the stretch, at least if he can avoid being bitten by the injury bug yet again.
