Devils' P.A. Parenteau: Ruled out Monday due to injury
Parenteau suffered a finger injury blocking a shot in Saturday's game against the Rangers and will not be available Monday versus the Canadiens, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Analysis:
Parenteau tallied an assist in the game but was held below 10 minutes of ice time because of the injury. His absence from Monday's contest leaves a bit of a void among the forward ranks and on the man advantage, but Blake Coleman was recalled from the team's AHL affiliate to fill in the offensive ranks. The winger's next chance to rejoin the lineup arrives Thursday against the Capitals.
