Canadiens' David Desharnais: Practices on fourth line Friday

Desharnais replaced Michael McCarron on the fourth line during Friday's practice, Stu Cowan of Hockey Inside Out reports.

Analysis:

Montreal coach Claude Julien made several tweaks to his lines during the practice, but did not confirm those lines would stick for Saturday night's game in Toronto. Desharnais, a healthy scratch the last six games, is a better offensive initiator than McCarron -- an important consideration for a team that's scored just 13 goals in 10 February games (2-7-1).
