Canucks' Nikita Tryamkin: Won't play Saturday
Tryamkin has been diagnosed with mumps and won't play Saturday against the Sharks, Matthew Sekeres of TSN 1040 reports.
Analysis:
Tryamkin is just one of five Canucks who has displayed symptoms of the mumps virus, and at this point it isn't clear how long he'll be sidelined due to the illness. The towering Russian defender's absence will test Vancouver's depth at defense, but won't mean much to fantasy owners, as his meager offensive contributions -- seven points in 50 games this campaign -- keeps him from being a desirable option in most formats.
