Capitals' Riley Barber: Recalled from minors Thursday

Barber was recalled from AHL Hershey on Thursday.

Analysis:

This marks Barber's first recall of the season, and it comes in the wake of Andre Burakovsky (hand) being placed on injured reserve. Barber has played only 18 games for Hershey this season, in which he's netted seven goals and added four assists. He also put up a respectable 55 points in the minors last season, so he'll be one to watch if and when he draws into his first career NHL game.
