Flames' Brian Elliott: Gives up five but grabs win in Nashville

Elliott allowed five goals on 28 shots but ended up the victor nonetheless Tuesday in Nashville.

Analysis:

Elliott surrendered four unanswered goals in the second period after being gifted a 4-1 lead, but was once again bailed out by the offense when Mikael Backlund tied the game in the third period and Mark Giordano won it 43 seconds into overtime. While it hasn't always been pretty, the former Blues netminder is 5-1-1 in his past seven starts.
