Hurricanes' Cam Ward: Slated to start Sunday

Ward is expected to start Sunday's game against the Maple Leafs.

Analysis:

Ward is slated to start his third straight game despite dropping his last two, one of which was an absolute heartbreaker to a bad offense. Assuming he does get the nod Sunday, the 32-year-old will have a chance to turn it around on home ice where he has been a lot better this season, posting 15 wins, a 2.25 GAA and a .921 save percentage. He'll give it a try against a Toronto team that's averaged 3.09 goals per game, but will be without young star Mitch Marner (upper body).
