Sabres' Taylor Fedun: Assigned to AHL

Fedun was sent to AHL Rochester after clearing waivers Sunday.

Analysis:

The defenseman has a mediocre seven points in 25 games in the NHL this year, so he could use a trip to the minors to get himself back into the zone. Given that he's been up in the NHL for most of the year, if Buffalo needs a blueliner, Fedun is a likely call-up candidate.
