Devils' Pavel Zacha: Power-play snipe stands as winner

Zacha's power-play goal stood up as the game winner Saturday as the Devils defeated the Islanders by a 3-2 score.

Analysis:

It took awhile for this young stud to settle into a groove, but he's now delivering well. Zacha's overall stat line -- eight goals and 16 points in 50 games -- doesn't inspire confidence. But look deeper and you'll see that seven of those points, including four goals, have come in the last nine games. And nine have come in the last 13. Zacha is now delivering single-season value.
