Sharks' Timo Meier: Reassigned to minors

Meier was sent back to AHL San Jose and will suit up for the Barracuda on Friday, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

Meier once again will make the trek down the hallway to the Barracuda locker room in the SAP Center. Friday's matchup will be the center's 19th minor-league outing in a season for which he has compiled nine goals, six helpers, and 26 PIM. Given the frequent moves being made by the Sharks, it is a near certainty that Meier will be back up in the NHL before long.
