Flames' Johnny Gaudreau: Gaudreau gets the message

After spending time on the Flames' fourth line on Monday, Gaudreau was back in the thick of things, leading the team's forwards with 21:38 of ice time in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Philadelphia.

Analysis:

Johnny Hockey had been demoted to the fourth line by coach Glen Gultzan following a 5-0 loss to Arizona in which he had been taking long shifts leading to mental mistakes and a critical turnover. He was held off the scoresheet against the Flyers, but should continue to be a pivotal player in Calgary's playoff push.
