Sabres' Robin Lehner: Gets starting nod Thursday

Analysis:

Lehner has been rather inconsistent of late, going gone 3-3-0 in his last six outings, which includes a shutout as well as a pair of four-goal nights. The fiery goaltender has been scrutinized for losing his head of late, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the Avs crashing the net in an attempt to throw him off his game. Colorado owns the league's worst offense at just 2.02 goals per game, which should give Lehner the edge if he can avoid going off the rails.
