Panthers' Jonathan Huberdeau: Accompanies team on road trip

Huberdeau (Achilles) is on the road with the Panthers for the first time this season, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

The Panthers have embarked on a three-game road trip that starts Tuesday against the Wild and finishes up against the Avalanche on Friday. Huberdeau traveling with the team doesn't mean he'll be fit to play in any of those contests -- Fialkov adds that the winger remains more than a month away -- but he's reportedly shed his walking boot, a clear sign of progress.
