Flames' Chad Johnson: Wins again Thursday

Johnson beat the Coyotes 2-1 in overtime Thursday, turning aside 27 of 28 shots.

Analysis:

What a run by the 30-year-old, who has unbelievably rattled off five straight wins and emerged victorious in 10 of his last 12 starts. The career backup has come out of nowhere this season to usurp Brian Elliott as the No. 1 in Cow Town and has continuously delighted owners that were savvy enough to grab him while they had the chance. All told, Johnson sits with a 12-4-1 record to go with a 1.98 GAA and .932 save percentage -- both of which are seventh best in the NHL.
