Desharnais unsurprisingly joins fellow pivot Alex Galchenyuk (knee) on the IR list following the news that each of them will miss 6-to-8 weeks. The Quebec native posted a mediocre nine points in 25 games before going down, so he's not likely to be missed by the majority of fantasy owners.
