Rangers' Mats Zuccarello: Running cold recently

Zuccarello has missed the scoresheet in five of the last six games and hasn't scored a goal since Nov. 15.

Analysis:

A two-assist effort against Carolina on Saturday represents his lone contribution to the scoresheet over that six-game span. Zuccarello owns 17 points in 27 contests this season, representing a noticeable drop from the pace of last year's 61-point campaign, but the diminutive playmaker is still one of the Rangers' most important players and he's still heavily involved offensively. Things may not be going his way at the moment, but he'll get right soon enough.
