Avalanche's Calvin Pickard: Draws start in net Thursday

Pickard will man the goal posts for Thursday's road matchup with the Bruins, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

Although he's the short end of a timeshare with fellow netminder Seymon Varlamov, Pickard has been efficient when given the opportunity, going 4-2-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .920 save percentage over eight appearances. He'll look to tack on another victory against a Bruins team that ranks 23rd in goals scored per game (2.35) and may be using backup Anton Khudobin in net.
