Canucks' Daniel Sedin: Emerging from brief slump
Sedin scored a power-play goal and assisted on his brother's even-strength tally in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to New Jersey.
Analysis:
He went through a five-game skid with just a lone assist, but has emerged from it with goals in consecutive games. Still, it's been a slow season on the whole for Sedin -- his 17 points in 26 games are well behind his typical scoring pace, and he's sitting on a minus-5 rating. The long-time star hasn't finished with a negative rating since going minus-3 as a rookie way back in 2000-01.
