Sabres' Anders Nilsson: Stops 34, rides comeback to OT win

Nilsson turned away 34 of 37 shots before triumphing in overtime against the Oilers on Tuesday.

Analysis:

The outcome of this game turned on a dime for Nilsson, as he was the beneficiary of Evander Kane's game-tying goal with 29 seconds remaining, then Rasmus Ristolainen's game-winner 57 seconds into overtime. It's his fourth consecutive three-goal outing, but he's won three of those games thanks to the Sabres' offensive awakening in the aftermath of Jack Eichel's return. Nilsson's still second fiddle behind Robin Lehner, though; he only drew this start because of the Sabres' Monday-Tuesday back-to-backs.
