Lightning's Luke Witkowski: Reassigned to minors

Witkowski was sent down to AHL Syracuse on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Witkowski has seen action in six NHL contests this year, posting a minus-2 rating along with two PIM and six shots on goal. The 26-year-old is still looking for his first career NHL point. Given his lack of production with the Lightning, the blueliner probably will spend the majority of the season in the minors.
