Penguins' Phil Kessel: Career season continues

Kessel registered three points, including a goal and two assists, in Pittsburgh's 8-5 win over Ottawa on Monday.

Analysis:

The goal was classic Kessel, with the winger whipping a wrist shot past goalie Craig Anderson from just inside the blue line. Playing alongside Evgeni Malkin, Kessel has a legitimate chance to average better than a point-per game for the first time in his career (aside from the shortened 2012-13 campaign). He now has 27 points (9G, 18A) through 26 contests.
