Devils' Beau Bennett: Cleared to play

Bennett (leg) has been cleared to return to action, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Analysis:

Bennett technically remains on injured reserve, with the team required to make a roster move in order to activate him for Tuesday's meeting with Vancouver. Injuries have plagued the winger throughout his career, although it appears he will miss just three games with this latest ailment. In 20 outings this season, the 25-year-old has managed just one goal to go with his six assists, certainly less than fans and fantasy owners were expecting in his first season in New Jersey.
