Sharks' Martin Jones: Will tend twine Friday
Jones will be the starting netminder for Friday's tilt with Montreal, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
Analysis:
The 26-year-old has been one of the hottest in the league the last few weeks, notching a .955 save percentage and a 1.20 goals against average in his last five games. Unfortunately for him, he has to face off against the Canadiens, who are tied for the league lead in wins and rank in the top 10 in goals per game. That said, he's been good enough to outweigh the risk of playing against a top team, so he's a solid start in most leagues.
