Kings' Jeff Zatkoff: Wins in relief Thursday

Zatkoff got the call in relief after one period Thursday against the Coyotes, and he delivered 25 saves on 26 shots en route to a comeback win.

Analysis:

With Peter Budaj having taken over the Los Angeles net, Zatkoff has made only two appearances in the team's last 21 contests; his last start came in the third game of the season. However, Budaj's had a couple rough ones in a row, so there's a chance the Kings will turn to Zatkoff for a start against Montreal this weekend; of course, that's not a very easy matchup even if he draws into the lineup.
