Predators' Ryan Ellis: Now considered day-to-day

Ellis (upper body) has been upgraded to day-to-day.

Analysis:

Ellis had been placed on injured reserve last weekend in order to clear a roster spot for defenseman Michael Liambas. However, Ellis -- who already has a pair of game-winners to his name this season -- evidently is making progress ahead of Saturday's home contest against the Devils.
