Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Tending twine Thursday against St. Louis
Vasilevskiy will guard the cage in Thursday's road game against the Blues, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Analysis:
Vasilevskiy was shelled by one of the NHL's highest-scoring teams in his last outing, surrendering five goals on 38 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to Columbus, but he'll get another chance to prove himself in place of the struggling Ben Bishop. The 22-year-old Russian will look to bounce back in a much more favorable road matchup with a Blues team averaging 2.62 goals per game at home this season, 22nd in the NHL.
